SAN JOSE, CA — The City of San Jose's 18th annual Disability Inclusion Day takes over City Hall on Thursday, October 1, and it doubles as one of the most accessible employment fairs on the fall calendar. The free event runs 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at 200 E. Santa Clara Street, with about 100 vendors covering employment, education and recreation, and ASL interpreters on site.

What This Employment Fair Is, and What It Isn't

Know the format before you head downtown. This is a combined resource and employment fair, not a single-employer hiring blitz. The city's flyer describes roughly 100 vendors across three areas, and employment is one of them. Santa Clara County's Employee Services Agency lists it on its career and community events calendar, which is a good sign for anyone curious about public-sector work.

The 2026 employer roster has not been published. For a sense of the mix, last year's event on October 30, 2025 drew more than 80 organizations, and the city's recap named All's Well Healthcare, Auxin Solar, San Jose State University, Kaiser Permanente and the City of San Jose itself among them. That was the 2025 lineup, not a promise for this year, so treat it as a preview of the kinds of tables you may find rather than a guarantee.
